The Applecross Rotary Pride of Workmanship 2018 winner is Ash Chambers (pictured right) with Gemini Melville Manager, Andy Swift.
Applecross Rotary speaks with managers of businesses in the local community to find outstanding employees. This year the Pride of Workmanship has been awarded to Ash Chambers for his attention to the craft and to the customers.

Ash works at Gemini Accident Repair Centres. Their bright green building can be found on Thurso Rd in Melville not far from the Bunnings on Leach Hwy. The interstate company has many branches throughout Australia and our local Gemini branch is a winner.

The company culture promotes integrity and commitment. When our Rotary committee canvased the local suburbs, we were impressed by Manager Andy Swift's recommendation of Ash for his application of his skill and his professionalism.

The Pride of Workmanship Award goes back to 1975. The Rotary Club of Pennant Hills (New South Wales) promoted, "Do it once. Do it well. Build a better Australia." They asked other clubs in Australia to take up the project as part of their Vocational Avenue of Service.

The award helps employers build a stronger relationship with their employees. It helps our club get to know the people who make our business community strong. And, it connects managers, employees, and the community around the people that help us thrive.

Our club enjoys the connection we have with small businesses in our community through the Pride of Workmanship Award. Applecross Rotary is proud to recognise Ash Chambers for his quality service to our community. And, we look forward to following his career over the years to come.
