ROTARY YOUTH PROGRAMS
 
Rotary Clubs across Australia sponsor young people in the development of skills in the areas of communication, leadership, road safety / driver awareness, resilience and self-esteem and in furthering their career aspirations in the areas of mathematics and science. 

ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE

Rotary Youth Exchange Australia - RYEA FIND OUT MORE
For students aged 15-17 who are interested in travelling and experiencing a new culture. Through Rotary Youth Exchange, young people will spend a year studying abroad living with Rotary volunteer host families who will introduce them to a new culture, language, and lifestyle in one of over 12 countries. 

NATIONAL YOUTH SCIENCE FORUM

National Youth Science Forum - NYSF FIND OUT MORE
For Year 11 students passionate about science, NYSF gives an opportunity to visit a large variety of some of Australia’s leading scientific facilities and talk to many of our top scientists enabling informed career choices to be made. It's also a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded people and establish professional relations and life-long friendships.

ROTARACT AUSTRALIA

Rotaract and Interact FIND OUT MORE
Rotaract and Interact allows young people to be part of a Club with others who want to join together to tackle issues in their community that they care most about. Through Rotaract and Interact they can carry out hands-on service projects, make international connections, develop leadership skills and... Have fun!
Rotaract is for young adults aged 18 - 30 years. Interact is for 14-18 year olds - often based in schools or within the community. 
 
 
Rotary Youth Driver Awareness - RYDA FIND OUT MORE
Youth road trauma is a community based problem that needs a whole of community response. RYDA is a one day program, conducted at an out of school venue, which targets high school students in Years 11 and 12 (16 - 18 years). Supporting the graduate licensing schemes, the program focuses on the key government 'big five' road safety issues of speeding, DUI, fatigue, seatbelts and distractions as well as the importance of driving as a social responsibility'.

SCIENCE EXPERIENCE

Designed for our youth who have an interest in science and want to engage in a wide range of fascinating hands-on science activities led by passionate scientists? Science Experience provides information for Year 9 and 10 students about further studies in science, technology and engineering highlighting the wide range of careers that will allow them to pursue their interest and abilities in the sciences.

ROTARY YOUTH LEADERSHIP AWARD - RYLA

RYLA is a 7 day residential leadership seminar for aspiring leaders aged 18 - 25 years. The week incorporates a lot of self-development through a variety of mechanisms including reflection (individually & as a team), team work, sports and outdoor activities, dancing and many others.
Participants can seize the opportunity to develop leadership, communication and problem solving skills, practice new behaviours, forge life-long friends and challenge their own personal belief systems and values. 

ROTARY YOUTH PROGRAM OF ENRICHMENT - RYPEN

RYPEN provides a group of young people aged 15-17 an opportunity to develop valuable leadership skills. This weekend long program will see them engage with like-minded people, while having fun and learning new skills in areas such as problem solving and public speaking. On top of learning these skills RYPEN will give them a chance to put them to practical use, through debate and physical activity.
