from Kenn Williams Membership Director
Applecross Rotary has endorsed the new Membership classification of ASSOCIATE.

This invitation is to those members of our community who give willingly to ongoing support of Applecross Rotary, but may not wish to become a full Member of Rotary.

Whilst many of our loyal supporters are partners of AxRotary Members, there are many others who make themselves available to help us with our many community projects.

Applecross Rotary want to officially recognise our key helpers with this new Associate Membership offer, and a special welcome evening is planned for the above date.

For those accepting our invitation, you will be presented with an Associate Member badge, and be welcomed to join some special Applecross Rotary activities during the year. Other than this, your supporting role will not change in any way at all unless you want it too... ie, apply for full Membership or join one of our active community based committees.

Details of the welcome evening which will take the place of a regular Club meeting.

DATE and TIME:  Wed 18th of September, 6pm/6.15 for a 7 pm start
LOCATION:         DOME Cafe, The Esplanade, Mt Pleasant.
FORMAT:             Pre Dinner drinks and social time
Book your own Cafe style meal, served from 7pm
                             Formal Welcome and Badge Presentation
A yet to be confirmed speaker highlighting the value of Volunteering.
                             Meeting close by 8.30 pm

If you are unable to attend on the evening, or do not wish to become a part of our Associate Membership at this time, please advise me at your early opportunity.
This will certainly not be a once off invitation to join as an Associate: if we have missed an obvious supporter on this occasion,  then please advise for due consideration

From the RULES OF ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP included, you will note a cost of $20 annual fee. This is to support the cost of an ASSOCIATE name badge and ongoing Rotary administration fees.

I will be in touch by phone over the next couple of days in order to confirm acceptances for both the Associate Member and Welcome evening on the 18th.

Thank you in anticipation,
